Nominator's project description

Professor R. Jay Wallace is one of the leading moral philosophers of his generation. He has written influential works on responsibility, moral agency, practical reason, and the normative structure of the moral realm. His philosophical achievements have brought him wide recognition throughout the international scholarly community. As Humboldt Research Awardee he is working on the normativity of moral requirements. He will be presenting results of this research at numerous European universities, and meets regularly with younger scholars in Berlin to discuss topics of common interest.
